Black & White Dungeon Tiles
A downloadable asset pack
Free to use (license: CC BY-SA 3.0) 1-bit adaptation of https://jnur.itch.io/top-down-dungeon-tiles, with some modifications. Made with the Playdate's technical limitations in mind (a 400 × 240 pixel 1-bit display). Very simple, somewhat ugly and very limited for now at least.
Each sprite is 32x32 pixels, only white color (the downloadable file has a transparent background, the sprites are "designed" to be used as white on a black background)
Known "issues"/improvements I want to make:
- No separation between open door and just a doorway without a door
- It's pretty hard to discern the shape of the dungeon on a glance since floor and the dark void of nothingness are both just black. Not sure what to do, if anything.
- Animation? Probably never to be honest.
- Add some basic UI assets to fit the style and limitations, like menu dialogs and a "cursor"

I don't think it'd be worth the paperwork I'd have to do to appease the Finnish tax authorities, but I'll let you know if I do go down that road some day 😅
You've done a really good job giving these character
Thanks! Pretty hard with so few pixels & no colors to work with, but I'm happy with these so far.
